Madison Square Park’s Got Some New Decor

Ivan Navarro’s This Land is Your Land aims to capture the experiences one must endure as an immigrant to a new country. Navarro, known for his socio-politically charged sculptures, reflects on his memories as a child growing up in Chile during the Pinochet regime and on the freedoms of the American experience to create This Land Is Your Land. The unique installation of neon light reflected within sculpted water towers brings life to the vocabulary that expresses the political and personal struggles of immigrants worldwide.

The exhibition is on view daily until April 13, 2014 in Madison Square Park. For more information visit madisonsquarepark.org
