It’s that time of year again. The weather is warming up, the flowers are blooming, and it’s the perfect time to DRINK QUEENS BEERS! Queens Beer Week is back for its second year and better than ever. Recognized by Lonely Planet as a booming hotbed of microbreweries, Queens is enjoying its moment in the sun. Queens Beer Week kicks off May 10th with a shindig at the beautiful waterfront spot LIC Landing. Tickets are free and unfortunately, sold out. We’d recommend trying your luck the day of.
Other highlights will be a new collaboration between Barrier and Singlecut introduced at Judy & Punch on May 8th, the debut of LIC Beer Project at Alewife on May 15th and Finback’s first anniversary party on May 17th.
Over at The Local, we’ll be hosting Barrier Brewing, Big Alice Brewing, Singlecut Beersmiths, Rockaway Brewing Co, Transmitter Brewing, and Finback Brewing all together for one big Queens beer love fest – Think Global, Drink Local.
