FREE & FUN – Things to do the Week of June 19

Monday, June 19

11am – Central Park Tour: West Side Stories – Discover some of the Central Park secret sites that West Siders know and love: a lost village, a poetic garden, and a bridge with a spectacular view. Tour begins inside the park at 81st Street and Central Park West.


Tuesday, June 20

2pm – Free tours of the mayor’s residence, Gracie Mansion. – Sign up to reserve a spot. Located on East 88th Street and East End Avenue.

7pm – Weekly Drink & Draw at The Local – Belly up to the bar and get creative!


Wednesday, June 21

11am – Tour of Strawberry Fields – The tour begins on Central Park West and 59th Street

7pm – Live & Local – Join us at the bar for live bands. Free, no cover!


Thursday, June 22

8am-5pm –  Columbia GreenMarket – Open year-round on Thursdays and Sundays, this market is located on Broadway along the west side of the Columbia campus from 114th street to 116th street.


Friday, June 23

9am-6pm –  St. Anthony’s Flea Market – Located on West Houston between Thompson Street and Macdougal Street.


Saturday, June 24

8:30pm – Movies Under the Stars: Jason BourneJason Bourne probes his father’s death while evading government forces. Rated PG- 13. Located at John Jay Park on East 76th Street and FDR Ave.


Sunday, June 25

12pm – 2017 LGBTQ Pride Parade – New York Citys official march to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots and to celebrate the LGBTQ community. Begins on 36th Street and Fifth Avenue.

9pm –  Movie Night at The Local – Join us in the lobby where we’ll be showing free movies, and providing popcorn!
